i am sick of having to pay for services that i would normally get free. I refuse to get cable, now i refuse to purchase this new converter for my tv. i will no longer watch tv once my present tv stops working. i have a hoffmann tv from the early 60's and it still works. i placed a pink piece of cellaphane on my screen and i now have color tv. sure everyone and everthing looks pink, I DON'T CARE! once my tv stops working i am going back to basics and listening to the radio, and shooting a model 12, and looking for my first car a 1955 chevy. I HATE ALL THESE NEW GADGETS.

Steve it sounds like you have also quit taking all your medications as well but it is comforting to think that electro shock therapy is not a new thing at all and you will also probably be going back to that as well.

Is senior smoke really the literalist in disguise. That whole thing about "PINK" has me wondering.

Consumerism is doing a significant amount of damage to our society. Do a web search on "freegan" and "freecycle" to learn about a new movement that is beginning to gain in popularity.

I know Steve personally and he uses the computer at the library. He still wears the same clothes as when he was in high school and his weight has doubled! It's not a pretty sight. He is always out at Waukesha Gun Club at night picking up the used wads. He washes them and re-uses them; a habit taught to him by Vic Reinders.

The other day I caught him with a shovel and he screen just past the trap house; he said he was looking for unburned powder! He had one of guns re-chambered in 2.5" so he could keep using his burned off blue magics.

This is true; the other day he fixed his cracked BPS stock with newspaper and appoxy and sold advertising space on it. He is quite inventive.

    Senior Smoke,

How often do you change the flints in your fowling piece?

    ATTENTION FELLOW DUNDERHEADS!
i may be joking a little, except for going to go back to shoot a model 12. i have never held a shotgun that feels better than the model 12. speaking of model 12's, is there a fool proof way to determine if a model 12 pigeon is exactly that, and not someone just adding a pigeon to a standart trap model. my dad years ago, let me buy his 55 chevy. it was a blue, and white, stick shift. his uncle sold him a 57 olds, i think, not sure if that had the rockett 88 engine. it was sure fast. in later years i purchased my dads, 66 plymouth barracuda. wish i would have kept those 2 cars. my wife says that i look in the rearview mirror to often, she said i need to look out the front window. maybe it's just me, but years ago, the world seemed to be a better place. people were friendly, you took pride in your job, and in return you were valued by your employer. what has gone wrong?

The 60's is what went wrong.

    "make love, not war"

    "don't trust anyone over 30"

"You don't need to be married"

    "I don't need a man to have a family"

    "Time is money"

    "buy now, pay later"

    And the beat goes on..............
