1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Do any of you box collecters have one like this? This one got knocked off a shelf the other day. The contents are still fine but the box is a little worse for wear.

    Thanks,

    Wayne

Sorry, I don,t have one, but I sure admire yours. That number 12 shot marking sure makes it a rare one. I would hate to loose that box unless you can find an identical one. Consider taping it on the inside (won,t show) and using some shrink wrap (hobby store) and a hair dryer to shrink the wrap around it! It will look nice and be protected from further damage!

    Mr. Racer,

What should I do for a repair instead of using tape on the inside?

    Thanks,

    Wayne

wayne, until you find a box take a clear plastic bag, ziploc etc. fold the bag to tighten the contents/box back to shape then use clear plastic tape. that way you can still show/see your collectable and won't hurt the box as the tape won't touch it. good luck with your hunt, that is a very rare piece you have there!!

What is the best way to put a protective plastic wrap on a collector ammo box? Shrink wrap with hair dryer as mentioned above, etc?
