1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

Guys and Gals, i need a small milspect type waterproof case for my classroom. i teach high school at Providence High in Burbank, CA. One of our annual projects centers around building and launch various model rockets as we re-create the space race of the 60s. last year, one of our launch controllers took a real beating under the wheels of a truck. I need to replace the case. I've managed to rebuild the switches, relays and battery packs but i need a new case to put them in. I could just use a small tackle box but I want a mil-spec case to add a NASA flavor to the whole thing. Anyway, what I need is something at least 8"x8"x2-4" deep. Essentially, something about the size of a pistol case or slightly larger. Since all of the funding for equipment for this project comes out of my check, cheap is a key point. If you have something like this and are willing to part with it please email me and we can see if we can work something out. I'm off to DC with my students for a week so I may be slow in returning the email. Don't worry though, I will get back to you if you have what I'm looking for.

    Thanks,

    Reece Talley

Try the link and look for waterproof cases. Do a Google search for Pelican cases which might be closer to the sizes you need.

Why not contact the NASA Dryden Research facility at Edwards AFB? Who knows, considering what you're doing, they might just give you a box.

    I put their website up.

    Google "Hardig Cases."

These are truly Mil-Spec. H-S precision uses these for all their military sniper rifles they sell to the military, FBI, SS, etc.
