So I have owned a BT-99 for about 10 years. It had a right handed stock on it. I am left handed. I sold the stock. I wrapped the reciever, barrel, and forearm
in a blanket and put it in my closet. I purchased a left hand stock for it. Well my joy turned to sorrow as when I got it out of the closet, the forearm and iron are missing. I have looked everywhere, even put up a $50 reward in the household for its return. Whats a guy do? Birdtracker

Buy another. When you get it, put it in a safe place. You'll probably set it right next to the one you are missing. This works!! Larry

What is really cornfusing is I wouldn't sell the forearm iron due to it being fitted to the gun. It was all together in one piece and now its gone. The truth hopefully will be known some day. Birdtracker

In England and Scotland there are shooting tours. After shooting a venue, the workers clean the client's guns, pack and send them on to the next venue. If a shooter has acted like a cad, the workers forget to send the fore-esnd of his gun. This establishes for all to see that the man is a cad and that he will have to miss at least a dayn or two of the next shoot.

Now think hard, who have you pissed off?

You might have the same entities I have in my shops, stuff just comes up missing but I will assure you that if you go out and buy a new one you will trip over the old one on the way in your house

    Invariably when this happens,

someone took it and left it where you put it.

Where you left it is recorded in your sub-conscious mind. Relax and give it a few days, the answer may pop into your conscious mind once your sub-conscious knows you are looking for that piece of information.
