My(wife's) Hyundai Azera was made in Alabama. I hit a small deer with my f150 and it cost 2500 dollars to fix. I was doing about 65MPH when it ran out in front of me. Jackie B.

I had one of those big ones in the back yard- must have been 55 pounds or more- and a 32 long would not penetrate the skull- says something about the coon and the caliber

Took 6 shots to do him in and it wasnt instantaneous

I hit a raccoon in upstate ny in my 2005 cobalt super sport. Ruined the front clip, ac condensor, radiator, and intercooler. About 2700 bucks worth.

The last coon I hit was back in the 80s in a Honda Civic 4 door. I was coming back across Tamiami Trail at night doing about 70 and he ran out..I never got a chance to brake.

Bent the metal underscoop and cost 250 bucks including repaint. Coons may be softer in South Florida (and repairs were cheaper in the 80s). I still drive a Honda.

It's nice to know that your family will have fresh meat for the next few days!

I had a friend hit one that set off the air bag and knocked the car in reverse, she found herself in the ditch with an airbar in her face, 6,000 in damage...

Someone should have called Luther. He would have had fresh meat for dinner. Jackie B.

Other than hitting them with a car them dang coons are hard to kill! I usually plug two .22 LRs into them just for starters! Maybe I need a bigger varmint gun!

Was the coon shooting 7.5s or 8 shot, paper or plastic?

A silent moment for the death of several 'brothers'.

    Slow down in coon country!

The deer get all the signs.

I can understand the racoon going shooting but who in their right mind would pay 2500 dollars to fix a deer?

A 50lb. 'coon is half the size of the average Whitetail Deer. Better check your scale!!
