A friend tol me Thursday night at the shoot in Athens Ohio that Hal Dupont told his son about a KZ-5.

I have not seen anything or heard about this, anyone else verify this?

If they called it the KY-5, they'd never hear the end of it...(except from sandbagging gynecologists from Kentucky).

Buzz, sand and gynecology would be probably not be a good mix.

    Buzz,

It makes no difference what they call it now, I'll always think of it as a KY-5, thanks to you:) Very clever!

News to me - but interesting. I thought K was limitig the production of their KX-5 (one of which I am the pround owner) because the K-80's out sold them something like 10 to 1. So why insert a new combo to take away from 80 sales?

Because at $17k, they don't have that many sales.

    KY-5. Perfect!

EE - For having no sales there seem to be quite a few around.

They obviously don't have as many as they want, or they wouldn't be developing a gun to sell for half as much.

They are both marvelous guns Marlon; the less expensive model is just a study in simplicity.....Bob Dodd

Cool - I thought the Blaser was pretty simple but good too. Would've probably sprang for one had I not already been a K80 guy.

EE - they have enough sales to stay in business without a government bailout. I always thought that the ratio would be closer.

Not joking at all. Anybody go by the guerrini facility at the Grand? They replaced my kids first unsingle barrel for free. And after several more choke tube problems offered him a new gun. This is nothing new, common knowledge. Bill

So what were the problems that a new barrel wouldn't fix it, and they had to replace the gun?
