Ok was searching on my local internet classified ad's and seen some 223 shell's so I have no clue im only a shot gun guy.

I thought it sounded high my self but I was comparing to shot gun shells.

    ok ad below

    remington 223/lake city 5.56 ammo

205 rounds of ammo remington 145/223.lake city 60/5.56.

25 rounds of the 223 are in a bush master 30 round mag. 130.00 for all

    call.270-437-3171.

Also if anyone was to want to buy them then I could pick it up since Benton is about 10 miles away. just in case if the seller want's to charge a lot of shipping and if I really trust the buyer then I can pay for it and send and no I don't even know who the person that is selling the shell's I was just looking for a late model refrigerator and came across this in the recent ad's.

That does not sound to high if they are true lake city ammo. The mags are worth something being 30 round mags. I say offer the guy a $100 bill and go up slowly say to $120.

There is a difference between 223 and 5.56 mm ammunition. Check the following site. http://www.thegunzone.com/556v223.html
