    It's a big rabbit alright, but the photo was taken close up with a wide angle lens. This distorts the actual size of the rabbit.

    Notice the guy's hand under the rabbit. It's as big as his face, whereas is should cover only half of his face at best. Now look at the distance between his lower hand and his upper hand. It's one hand width. The rabbit's head is twice as tall as his hand, but it's also closer to the lens. If we use the rough scale of the man's hands to his face, then the rabbits head is probably the size of his hand. It's still a big rabbit, but it's not as big as the photo suggests.

    Nice rabbit.

    I too have never quite grasped the concept of a "lucky" rabbits foot. I always thought the lucky ones were still in the woods...
