Well I hit the buy now button and purchased the 4 Gauge hydraulic operated Spolar serial # 21xx that was being sold on Gunbroker. Even though someone on this site claims that he just sold the same one for $1,300.00 less than I paid for mine, I still think I got a deal.

There were 4 trash cans full of Remington Hulls, 5-5,000 each boxes of wads, 22 bags of magnum shot, 2,0000 primers, about 40 shot and powder bushings. I'm sure I left something out.

Well can you tell us how much you paid for all that? Inquiry minds want to know.

    Congratulations BTW.

I emailed the seller to ask him if the hydraulic pump was included, once he replied yes I made him an offer. He told me he had listed it for a lady who's husband had passed away and if I was willing to pay the asking price (buy now), I would be please with the deal. He gave me an idea as to what would be included and I figured it was a deal I could not pass up.

The fellow seemed like a nice guy, I don't know if he made money off of the sale or what happened to the powder. There were plenty of loaded shells. I asked if they were for dale and was told the lady was giving the shells to a member of the family.

There were two more garbage bags full of shells that I brought home that were not pictured and the Spolar shipping box.

The buy it now price was $3,000.00

    Andy,
I think you got a great deal. My Spolar is #2274 which I got
in July 2009. Just the shot and wads at today's prices are
    right around $1200.00 or more.
I think you did very well!!!
Love mine, just wish I had done it years earlier.

I don't know how anybody can view this as anything but a great deal. 1000.00 worth of shot and primers and wads not to mention the cases. 2,000 for a Sploar with all 4 gauges as well as the Hydraullics? I think you got a swat deal.

Thanks for the offer, I think I'll keep it. To be honest with you, I finally moved out of the Florida Keys. Here in the home I now live in, I have a large basement/garage and decided to build a gun room. The counters looked empty so I purchased a Dillon Super 1050 and now the Spolar. I haven't reloaded in 20 years but one of these days I'll start reloading ;-).

I could trade you a few reloaders to it to fill up your bench.

If the lizard Hulk catches plays his cards right (plays dead), he won't even bother with it. Most of them try to run away though.
