Can you buy dies for a Mec hydraulic loader set up as a 410, to convert it to 12 ga. ? I'm not sure, I think it is a 9000.

    Thanks

No, die sets are not available to change gauges on the MEC Progressives. That's not to say it can't be done, only that you spend a bunch for the necessary parts.

    Skip,

If you are mechanically inclined it can be done a lot cheaper than another loader, I have done it before. I have most of the pieces for a 9000 in a 12ga to change it if you are interested.

    thanks

The bases are different. The outer rail that keeps the hulls in the turret is wider for the .410. Ron

    guy's

You don't have to change the base they are the same you just change the gauge ring on it by removing the 4 rivets and installing the new ring, and if you are going to be switching back don't put rivets back in it put small screws.

    thanks
