1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

    Shooters,

For any club in the path of the recent hurricane Sandy:

If your club's Canterbury Voice Release systems were under water or damaged by the hurricane, Target Shotguns, Inc. will NOT charge any service fees for checking out your Control boxes and Relay boxes from wired sets, or any of the tranceivers from your Canterbury wireless sets. Send them to us at the address below and we'll check them out and test them at no cost. If parts are required we will bill you for them when we return your equipment.(Offer good through 11/30/12)

Here are some tips for your club if you were in Sandy's path and got a lot of water at your club:

    • Open all wired boxes and wireless receivers and dry them with a hair dryer as soon as possible. Most of the time, once the water is out and they are dry, they will work normally.

    • If you are near the coast and any salt water got to them, remove batteries and rinse them with fresh water and blow dry with a hairdryer as soon as possible.

    • Clean all the contacts and connectors on the boxes and the wires. Apply some conductive di-electric grease (Auto parts stores carry it.)on the posts and in the female connectors. This is a good idea even if the hurricane did not affect your club!

    • If you have any questions about your CVR units please feel free to call us on our toll free line 800-684-6329.

Ship any damaged CVR equipment to:

    Repair Department
    Target Shotguns, Inc.
    105 Mitchelle Dr.
    Hendersonville, NC 28792

Thanks for your business, we hope all the clubs damaged by hurricane Sandy get up and running in short order!

    Bob Schultz
