    Did the 390 have a plastic trigger guard?........SMOKIT

    No the 3901 has the plastic trigger guard. The 390 was the lsat Beretta auto trigger that was all metal. But both groups wioll interchange so if you find a 390 with a plastic housing it has been swapped out with a 3901 group.

    He is right. I have a 390 with metal. I know someone who has
    a 3901 plastic one in his. Good quality either way.
