Been waiting for the first arrivals and they're finally here in North Jersey. With all of the warm weather I expected them earlier. I guess that spring is here.

A Chukar moved into our neighborhood. They're an eastern Oregon game bird. He keeps calling for a mate. Good luck with that, pal.

Hummers arrived in my area (eastern MA) 5/5 and the Orioles arrived 5/6! My neighbor had a Bob White Quail under her feeder about a month ago.

We are located on the St Lawrence River at Cape Vincent in Northern NY.
We got purple martins on April 18th and hummingbirds on May 3rd

Gold finches and bluebirds in droves in Eastern Virginia. Even saw what I think was my first fledgling Robin last week.

They hardly left our place in N Texas over the winter, but we had no winter, barely got below freezing

I haven't seen a hummer yet but it would help if I put my feeder out. I did see a little 10 inch eastern ringneck snake yesterday. Haven't seen one in years.

Going to fill my feeder right now.
