A wooden dowel rod has always worked best for me. Get the biggest in diameter one you can get past the choke section of your barrel and knock out from the muzzle end of the barrel tward the breech.

If all else fails sharpen a brass or aluminum cleaning jag on a cleaning rod so it will catch the edge of the hull and cut it out.

Take a spent wad, put in muzzle end and push with a wooden dowel, if you push through the casing add a dime into the cup of the wad, might have to take your choke tube out. This is how I have done it for a couple of different guys the same thing happened to. Good Luck.

Make sure you oil the bore before you start forcing the stuck case out.

I have had the same problem and the best way to do it is just like what bowsnbulls stated.

Unless it is a boat hull, it should come right out.

In theory they should come out but don't always. A smooth hull (Federal, Activ, etc.) in a hot barrel will sometimes stick pretty tight and require cutting to get out.

put some laquer thinner in a cup. put a hull in it. It should dissolvew it. If it does put some in the barrel after you break the gun down.
