Hull hangs in Briley tubes.

    Jack,

    Have you measured the bore size of the chamber in those tubes? That would bwe the first place that I would look.

    steel head shells (check with a magnet)? those would be your problem. Use federal gold medal, win aa or rem sts and your problem should go away

    Most of the barrel insert manufacturers recommend using AA's or STS's. I tried Rio's, Top Guns, and Gun Clubs in my 20 and 28 gauge inserts and they hung up.

    Stick to the premium shells.

    Reloads will be fine, again, as long as you use the better hulls.

    When I first saw hull sticks regularly in tube, I thought cracked chamber. But this is almost always a 20 ga tube that cracks. I agree with others, there are many cheaper shells that will stick (steel bases) in tubes. Try some AA or STS and see if it happens.
