Attention shooters: The weather for the shoot this Saturday is supposed to be spectacular so I wanted to make people aware that the bridge is still out on Norton road between Mason Road and County Farm roads near the Howell Gun Club -------AND------ there is now another bridge out West of the club on Jewell road between Cedar Lake Road and the Club. This really limits the number of ways to get to the club. Please do a Yahoo Maps or something similar so you can see where these roads are so there are no surprises. The detours are lengthly and there are some other ways around them. Any shooters coming to the club from Exit 137 (The D-19 exit) off of I-96 will be given a pretty lengthly detour to follow. Just a heads up. Another way to get to the club if you have a Livingston county map is to take the D-19 exit and go North to Mason Road like usual, then go west on Mason just like usual, but instead of going to Norton, turn left on Peavy which is the first road after you go over the expressway on Mason Rd. Take Peavy south about 3 miles to Sexton. Turn right (West) on Sexton to County Farm. Right (North) on County Farm to Jewell Road. Left on Jewell to the Club. You may also take County Road D-19 south after you exit the expressway to Sexton and follow the above directions but the first way has less dirt road.
