Not sure about the marathons. You'll have to contact Ernie on that one.

    Hey Perry,

We talked to Ernie and it sounds like he's going to have some chili. Not sure why, it should be around 70 deg and sunny, LOL!

Hope to see you guys there. We missed you last Sunday but are planning on a visit up North in February.

    Regards,
    Matt Krizinski

Ice is plenty think, 8" at least. Did a little bit of both and neither was all that great.

Had a good time at the calcutta in Allegan.

    Regards,
    Matt

Well we had a great turnout today. 25 teams (50 shooters) on the 75 bird pick and 13 teams (26 shooters) on the draw.

Thanks a bunch to all the guys from "up north" for coming down to see us Southerners. The shooters from Allegan, Fennville, and Gun River area are as tough as they come. They also know how to have a good time! Although if I keep getting harassed I might think about leaving the sport and taking up olympic speed skating...well maybe not.

Another big thank you to our friends from Griffith Ikes, yes Griffith Ikes Indiana! A couple of guys (names not listed to protect identities) were headed to a Chicago Bears fan club convention and just happened to stop by on their way. We appreciate you guys stopping and wish you could have done better in your shootoff. I heard something about Willie saying "I wish I would have asked Otis to shoot with me."

I wish the target prices would have been a little more cooperative. We'll have to see what we can do in the future. It would also be nice to have 7+ teams on the protections so that we can pay two places, but again we'll have to see what we can do.

Okay I'm tired of typing so we'll see you guys soon and thanks again to all the shooters for showing up today. I think it's safe to say the Southwest Michigan calcuttas have rebounded!

    Regards,
    Matt Krizinski

    Hey Wayne,

Larry was pretty bundled up for the cold weather but I thought I could see a Jay Cutler jersey under his coat.
