Re-instatement of the "Assault Weapon Ban."

Federal pre-emption of state right-to-carry laws.

Ban union members from deer hunting (ok, that one I did make up...)

It probably would be a good idea to stop at the drug store and pick up a large jar of Vaseline,,,,,,,

Lead restrictions or outright bans, excessive taxes on ammunition, bans on autoloaders and pump guns and cozying up to Soros and his global gun control scheme. We'll see in a year or two. I pray that I'm wrong, but I don't think that I am.

Obama introduced a 500% tax increase on guns and ammo, but failed.

He now has the tools to accomplish such a thing. His agreement with the 2nd Amendment is irrelevant. With that kind of tax, just imagine paying $45 for a box of AA's. Manufacturers of guns and ammo will go under. Do you see the picture now?

I doubt anything will happen overnight. But in a year or so we'll be done for.

(((((((HELLER VS WASHINGTON D.C.)))))) Supreme Court Decision, for all you that can't read. Watch for your local governments to try and snatch your gun rights now. Feds are all done, supreme court decided in our favor months ago. Didn't your NRA buddies tell you all that?

from the responses it doesn't look good for us. i have 3 grandsons that i want to introduce them to trapshooting when they are old enough. looks like, and feels like we might become second class citizens because we like to shoot and participate in the shooting sports. it is very hard to understand how supposely educated people don't understand the good we do with charity shoots, etc. majority of us are good citizens.

421, the decision was 5-4. we have to pray that the 5 don't die or retire or there may be a change. the awb will be signed in January '09....wagers on this one??? 421 can you shoot WITHOUT bullets or shells? When they place a tax so high on the ammo or a ban on certain types....what is your solution to this??? btw, has Heller gotten his permit yet??? I believe DC just came out with another restriction or didn't you READ that one?????

Thank you nipper. You have proved once again that some of you only care about what YOU shoot.

You would sacrifice OUR right to own a firearm of OUR choice because YOU don't own one. You belonged in that crowd of sheep that was in Chicago tonight.

"you will still have your over priced guns"

If you worked a little harder, maybe someday you could afford one too.
