how to verify barrel length on perazzi

    what markings on the barrel would confirm the length of the barrel--is it the stamp at the bottom 12-76 or 12-72 etc etc

    That's the chamber length in mm...

    I don't think they are marked for length.

    Perazzi does not mark barrel length. I've seen 28" barrels that was cut from 32" then choke tubed.

    12-76 means 12 gauge, 76 millimeter chamber (or 3")

    12-72 means 12 gauge, 72 millimeter chamber (or 2-3/4")

    Best way to measure barrel length is with a wooden dowel, gun UNLOADED, action closed, stick the dowel in until it bottoms against the breech face, mark the dowel, then measure the dowel, from the end to the mark you made.
