Trying to take off the stock on my MX8. I took off the pad. I tried to used the screw driver that Perazzi supplies in the case. Can't seem to find the nut. Am I missing something?

I did try the screw driver in the top hole.

It will be a 6mm hex wrench...you have to just feel for it...

I took the top of the adjustable comb off and does not look like any part of it protrudes down to where the stock wrench goes in.

Let me try a different flash light. Could not see all the way in with the light I have now.

I can see the nut and it feels like I need a larger hex wrench. I presume the one with the red handle that says Perazzi on it is a 6mm?

5mm is the correct size for a Perazzi and K-80. 6mm is a Beretta.

Took it to a local gunsmith this morning. All he did was tap the stock to get it off. Apparently I did unscrew it.

    Thanks for the feedback.

Hey, at least you didn't break it!! The most common thing I forget to do is remove the adjustable comb. The posts can interfere with the wrench when you try to unscrew the bolt.
