I am now doing fine with single release triggers. I want to learn double release triggers. My flinches are are on the second bird doubles trap, skeet, sporting clays. I tried double release on post one on skeet double fired three times in row. I am using PFS stock. I was told by a release trigger shooter I may not be gripping the trigger on the second shot, and relaxing my finger. Could it be the PFS, movement? 10Tenner

What kind of job do you have? If you are sitting at a desk do a little mind and muscle memory excercise. Pretend you are holding the shotgun, set the trigger, shoot and set the second trigger and shoot. 10 to 15 minutes for a few days and you are on your way to subcontious shooting. It does not take long to get this grilled into your head. Scott

I went from pull pull to double release. I shot skeet to get used to the double release. It took about 500 shells to become comfortable with the double release. Bill Malcolm

Phil Kiner told me to shoot doubles from posts 2 & 4. 100 targets did it for me. Harv

A shot with a release trigger starts with the trigger pulled. When you fire the shot your finger goes; release-pull, one motion. So it's alway set for the next shot. You do the same thing with a pull trigger, but in reverse. It's pull-release, ready for the next shot.

    Think one motion: release-pull.

I was short shooting the 2nd bird until I had the gunsmith slow my trigger down. Someone else will have to come forward to help you adjust the PFS for Double Release.

I shot 4 or 5 rounds of skeet doubles and it just fell into place.

May want to get a Terry Jordan Wall Chart, and work out on it.

Can save you a lot of money practicing, and at the same time help you get into the release, pull, release cycle.

    Good Luck !!!

If you have a fast release tighten your stock spring almost all the way down and that should take care of the problem your having.

How many turns do recommend turning out? I believe I have 8 to 10 turns right now it has been so long I have just set the PFS and left that way. 10tenner
