I had the misfortune of my mid bead breaking off while in the gun rack at a shoot Sunday. My question is does the bead thread in or is it pressed in? You can't tell by the exploded view. I'm going to order one but is it ok to drill out the post or is there another way?

It happened to me also luckily there was a gunsmith at the shoot it was pressed in he drilled it out and pressed a new one in. Took him all of ten minutes BUT it was something he had done many times, I am glad I did not have to do it!!!!!

    regards xtj
