How to distinguish between Perazzi forend types?

    How do you distinguish between the different forend types for Perazzi? Specifically interested in MX-2000 and MX-10 forends. Thanks.

    I am sure Steve W will post a picture of a Type III and Type IV that will show the difference between the two but to answer your question on an MX2000 vs MX10, they should be the same style trap forend Type IV. The MX2000 is considered a slight upgrade " a bit more grain" over the MX10.

    What are those forearms resting on? Looks like nice engraving?

    Also looks like nice engraving on the forearms - what models of Perazzi?

    That's the sample plate my engraver showed me for one of my rifles.

    One of the forearm was an old SCO, the other one is a SCO sideplate.
