I picked up a beautiful Ljutic Mono. Someone has turned off the ejectors and made it a extractor. What did they do to make this happen and how do I change it back?

    thanks

You can call Bob Schultz at Target Shotguns and I'd imagine he could walk you thru it.

depending on the age of the gun there is a small plate with two set screws that has to be loosened to set it back to ejection. Look right where the ejector rod comes out. what it does is lock the rod to prevent the spring from throwing it out

An older Mono Gun required removal of the ejector pawl, spring, and pin. If new parts are required from Ljutic they cost approx $135. Marc

An X-73 had a spring removed which turned the ejector into an extractor. If you need a new spring, any good hardware supplier could provide it.

The spring is cheap and you can cut it to a length that will change the distance the ejector throws the shell.
