Bill, I don't have the answer as to how old your PW is, but I had the same experience with PW customer service. I have a 800B that works fine but asked them on 2 separate occasions questions about spare parts. They never answered me at all either. I feel if they are so arrogant to blow off customer service they don't need my business. My Hornady/Pacific 366 is a better loader in my opinion anyway with great customer service and very reasonable prices on spare parts. My 2 Cents.

I'm sure that they came out well after the Platinum 2000. I have a 2000 that I bought at the Vandalia Grand, the first year they were introduced.

The factory never did anything more with the warranty cards than to put them in a box.

I asked Brian long ago when I was there starring at all the cards, why they didn't file them in a database?

"I have a 800B that works fine but asked them on 2 separate occasions questions about spare parts"

Perazzi_MX8 I saw this on the PW website

"Attention owners of 800B, 800C, and 800 Convertible reloaders:

After our current parts for these models are gone, we will no longer stock or manufacture parts for them. You may want to order any parts you need now."

Maybe why they didn't answer your question.

Bob, I have a hard time believing all the parts are gone. No matter what, they should have answered with something. The fact that they won't make any replacement parts shows again how they could care less about their customers. I am the customer and no response is not excusable.

It doesn't say all the parts are gone. It says AFTER the parts are gone.

As far as whether they should have responded I can't comment on other than it would seem reasonable to assume so.

I think that if you called them by phone they couldn't very well refuse to answer.

They won't make replacement parts because they discontinued those model.

15 years ago they were making the center post models and told me my 800B should be used as a boat anchor,EXACT WORDS. Well I made things work to this day and its still a great loader. Old enough to not have the handle stop. They brought back the 800 , I wonder why? Jeff

I bought my 800B in 1972. Tens of thousands of shells. Still works great. Jimmy Borum

My little experience with the factory mirrors MX 8.

I got the impression if you had an 800B they no longer wanted to talk to you.

Best to buy parts from one of the dealers from this web.

I bought a Platinum in 2002, no 800+ at that time.

    bigbore613 , " They brought back the 800 , I wonder why? "

They apparently brought it back to compete with Spolar's claim of quick gauge change.

I called the company about a year ago and gave them my serial number. I asked them what year my 800 plus was made. They just blew me off.

    2. Side links that are of different length from present machines.
3. Main 7/8" diameter cross-shaft.
To the best of my recollection, I bought my first 800+, serial number 799, in 2002.
