How much shot will a 5 gallon bucket make?

    It is kind of varible. I've seen buckets weigh anywhere from 150 to 190 lbs. All depends on the size of the weights and how well they are packed in the bucket. I'll estimate that you will loose somewhere between 10 to 20 lbs in dross and clips.

    4-5 bags, depending on how big the weights are. The larger the weights, the less clips you will have. I figure 20% of a bucket full is trash.

    15 to 20 depending on how clean 25 30 if dropped off to me and clean. no trash valve stems ect. tire stickers

    Just called around to several large metal buyers, prices are around .50 per pound. One said they could not sell any, had a contracy with a Chinese co. for all they could get. Unless you in Timbucto I doubt you can buy for less than .35 per pound.JMHO Bill

    Oh yea yield is around 75 to 80 per cent.

    Well I have been on the phone with several scrap buyers the last two days and the new price on wheel weights for sale is .62 to .65 per lb. For the love of god scrap batteries are at .27 to .30 per lb. With that price on scrap batteries I will be able to buy new shot. Bill
