4 boxes/wk in the winter, to 8 boxes/wk spring to fall. Only a recreational shooter and wish I had more time to shoot.

hmmm...I never think about it in terms of boxes. But I have no trouble coming up with 20,000 shells a year between skeet (all gauges), trap, 5 stand (when I do it), spring and fall league, and practice every saturday and sunday that a registered shoot doesn't interfere, LOL.

In the winter I try to shoot twice a week. During the rest of the season it depends on what's going on. The most I've shot in a day was 800rds.

I average 20 boxes a week ... between practice and programs.

    My 2nd hobby is reloading!

I am more concerned with how many boxes of shells I shoot well each week. I do shoot around 15,000 registered birds a year and around 24 boxes, in 4 box sets, well each year.

I forgot ducks and geese in terms of boxes! And, naturally, PHEASANTS. That's a lot more boxes added to my fall total, certainly.

Prob'ly 20 boxes a week in the summer, little to none in the winter depending on how serious a winter northern Montana serves up.

As much as can be afforded 8 last week and this week ATA and 2 each week practice. Before that it was just 6 to 8 and I see 200 bird events most of the summer for the Mrs. and myself 2 times a month plus league.
