    How much are your club

I just checked with the local trap and skeet club. $175.00 per year plus tax. This gives you the right to buy a round at $5 and you can use your own shells. If not a member...$10 per round and you must use their shells. Plus, I think there is a two round minimum if not a member.

What are you paying per year?

I am amazed at some of the low target costs like $2.50 or $3 per round. Given all the costs of running the club and the actual clays with machine maintenance, it's pretty impressive that it's so cheap.

$150 per year + $100 per year assessment for land purchase a couple of years ago. (Assessment has an end date, just not sure when.) Trap and skeet: $2.00 per round for members, $4.00 per round for guests. Rifle/pistol range free. We have a self-imposed member limit and there is a waiting list to get in at all times.

Someone above asked how a club can be run so cheap with increased costs. Ours is completely run by volunteers. You are expected to participate in periodic work days and to offer to be a board member at some point in time. After you shoot, you pick up hulls/casings and reload the houses so it is ready for the next group. Pretty low-key, but that's the way I like it.

    $50/year at 1 club with $5/round.

    $100 / year at 2nd club with $5/round.

    $125 / year at 3rd with $2.70 / round.

At all, you provide your own shells, factory or re-loads. All 3 are 20 minutes from my home, so about 1/2 gallon of gas each way.

I shoot primarily at the 3rd club. If they raise their prices to $2.80 I woun't be able to afford to shoot trap any more, because as we all know from all the complaints on this List, shooting is just getting too darned expensive.
