how many shoot O/U for Handicap?

    How Many Of you Shoot an O/U for caps?? How many use a 30" ???

    I use Perazzi SCiT 29 7/8th barrels. Its the shooter not the gun. Mike Sharkey, DC

    I made the 27 with a very worn model 3200, choked full full.

    I shoot a Beretta 682 with 30" barrels. I'm only @ 26 yards & I'm not very good from back there. I've tried 34" single barrels but always have gone back to the o/u. I've always shot the o/u for singles.

    Keith Ditto one of the best shooters in the country shoots an O/U Perazzi. Nuff said.

    I have tried it both ways and by far the 34" SBT works best for me and that holds true for singles as well. Hence I shoot a combo. I really can't say it is a true mechanical advantage, probably more a mind game thing, but that is how it is in my case. I do think it is important to find your own preferences though and the O/U does work out better for some guys.
