For years I've been bouncing from one gun to another but have finally (I think) settled on one. I've always been very interested in hearing about guys who go for years shooting the same gun. They are content with it and usually very consistent shooters. I would be interested in hearing how long some of you have been shooting the same gun. Thanks, Mike.

bought mine new in 1983 ok hadn't shot anything in the last 2 years but have always used the beretta 680 when I was serious so over 25 years has been shot down the barrel wished I had all that money back now that I shot out the end of the barrel.

10th trap-gun is MX8 with PFS, 6 years...also a new record, and when it goes it will be because I no longer have the time/money for trap...hopefully never. Cheers-Graham.

40 years with the same Browning Broadway bought new in 1970 . I wonder if it counts as the only original part is the receiver and forend wood. Custom stock about 35 years ago and longer 32" o/u barrels about 6 years ago.

Nye on 4 months now with my Browning XT. I know, it's a long time, but she's such a good old friend and i could never part with her.. At my age, she'll certainly outlast me.

Won my 1st trophy in 1964 with my Dad's Mod. 12. I still have the gun. Never used anything but Mod. 12's. Finally made the 27 last month.

I have been shooting the same "tricked out" Remington 3200 for all games for about ten years now and have been successful in Skeet and Trap which is what I primarily shoot.

We all know its the gun, when I find the one that stops missing when I raise my head I'll stick with it. Plus they are all so pretty, nice to have more.

For many years I changed guns about every three years. But, I have been shooting my K-80 for< I think< about 25 years. With that gun and the PFS I have on it, I don't have to buy another gun. All I have to do is change the POI with the adjustable rib, move the position of the trigger and change the stock adjustments. I can make my K-80 into a very different gun simply by turning a few screws.

I never make a change in the gun unless I have 2-3 consecutive days of very poor shooting. Some years I make no changes, other years I make several changes. I find it much easier to make a little change in the gun than it is to make a change in my mental attitude. Changing my gun does not work as well as changing my attitude, but it sure is easier.

Let me see: Ljutic Mono purchased in I think 1987. So, 23 years, and had it rebuilt the first of the year.

"20yard" hit the nail on the head. I'm in that ongoing search for the gun that is not full of misses. I know there is one out there for me, i just haven't found it yet. Leo and Harlan and the likes seem to have found them a good one.---Matt

    Model 12.

    Purchased in 1975.

A good milled rib at the time was bringing about 650. I was too cheap and opted for a Win. Spec rib model.

Did add a adj. comb and butt plate.

I shoot it about as good or better than others Ive owned.

Love the swing of a model 12 as well as its looks.

    Regards....Gerald

It's been almost 3 years now.. without me getting another shotgun.. When I start shooting trap again????? well??? I'll probably take out my original Remington 1100.. Start from my beginning.. back to basics.. or my first Seitz.. Both have logged alot of rounds with me.. I do want the new short rib Perazzi.. but that's not in the budget for this year..
