I can tell you that in its homeland (Italy) its pronounced as

'Go-rrr-eenie' or even 'Ko-rrr-eenie' where you obviously roll the 'r'. The 'G' (or 'K') sounds like the 'G' in the English 'Gorilla'.

However, the Caesar in Italian is Cesare which is pronounced as 'Tse-saa-re'

In Minnesota a woman asked her grandpa if the new restaurant was pronounced Sweden House or Sveden House. Her grandpa replied it is Sveden House for sure. Oh Thankyou, Grandpa. Your Velcome!

There is, or was, a poster on this forum who signed himself "Bpob". When asked how that was pronounced, he'd answer "Bob - the "p" is silent".

It is amazing to me the number of shooters who pronounce the scope maker
"Leupold" as "Leopold". Just say "Loophole" as in "a loophole in the law" and you are close enough, but it is never "Leopold".

The chronograph maker "Oehler" also gives people fits. It is pronounced simply
"Aylor". You can call them and listen to how the receptionist pronounces the name.

    Hi Rick,

The CG. Just picked up a Magnus trap combo a month ago. I really am enjoying it, soft shooting, a lot of "gizmo's" to fiddle with, (I admit it, I am a kid and just HAVE to fiddle with things), beautiful work, solid work, beautiful wood, the O\U barrels shoot the same, swing the same as the unsingle and the list goes on. But there is also a chance I may be a tad biased after spending the money.

Call the shop in MD and listen to how they answer the phone.

You will then get the correct answer.

Or, for the Italian version call Italy.

    Just a suggestion.

I pronounce it Caesar Guerini. ;>)
