You have got to be kidding me! I have used several of these on my low stocked hunting guns. These things should come w/ a warning label. How do you remove one w/o sending your stock to be refinished. I have thought about heat (hair dryer). HELP!

The hair dryer should work - then you may have some glue to clean off. I have used wd40 for the remaing glue. It won't hurt the finish

Yup..heat has worked for me. Dont over do the heat and bubble your finish, slow and gentle will work.

Soak it in mineral spirits. I tried Goo Be Gone on my wife's new front loader washer plastic viewing port and ruined the plastic. Be careful.

They should come with a warning label!!! I just peeled it off with my fingernail(s) and then used GooGone on what was left. It took me almost an hour to peel it off!!! Ended up with two sore fingers.
