How do I view a PDIView.exe file in Windows?

    So I have these sporting dog images emailed to me but cant open them

    Anyone use or know how this format works- can I use with windows?

    Be careful, that file has a history of containing malware and viruses. HMB

    First that is not a viewable file. That is a self executable file that will either install a virus or a program. if you don't know the source, DON'T OPEN IT!!!!!

    Make sure that the source knowingly sent it to you. Some viruses take over a user's e-mail list and send out an e-mail with a virus, that looks like it is from someone you know. If you know this person, have them send the pictures as jpegs. Mark

    Do you have any anti-malware applications (Malwarebytes, MS Security Essentials) installed on your computer that you can scan the files before you even think of opening them?

    "VirusTotal.com" is a free online scanner that scans either files already in your system or files and URLs still on the internet.
