Can someone give me a brief synopsis of how carry-overs work in trap.

Is it done for ties involving $, no money, or both? For titles, $, or both. For open events, concurrents, or both?

    How do

Also, how many times can a carry-over be stacked. On other words, from what I gather, if your tied in the 1st event, the score of the second is the tie breaker, but if your still tied, does the 3rd event become the tie breaker for the first two, and how many deep can this go if they are still tied?

    How do

Usually they are used for preliminary singles and doubles events, not as often for championship week events. If in place it would usually apply to all trophies in that event, open or not. Ties can keep getting carried over to 3rd event, 4th event etc, no limit on that, but carryover ends with the first shoot-off event, and if carry over participants are still in that event's shoot-off, the shoot-off settles all the prior carryovers. If there is money going with the trophy, the carry-over applies to the money as well as the trophy.

Basically, it is pretty much however management wants to handle it. Again, usually not the more important events, but even in those cases, a shoot-off may end up getting carried over to another event if participants agree. This last bit regarding shootoffs is more unusual and not usually planned ahead of time.

    How do

typically carryovers are decided by sub event, not total score of the 2nd event.
