Focusing on the mental side of the game took me from breaking 97's, 8's and 9's, to frequent 100 straights at singles. And raised my Handicap average from the mid 80's to the low 90's. I ran out of shootin' money before I got to make it work at Doubles.

Lanny Basham's "Mental Management" CD's helped, and a little book called "Mind Gym" by Gary Mack & David Casstevens helped even more. I highly recommend both of these if you're serious about shooting with the big boys. cls

I took my shooting to a whole new level this year. I missed and missed and missed and worked my way to a reduction and from AA or AAA all the way down to A class. I can't tell you exactly how I did it, you will have to take a clinic from me to find out.

I started shooting Liberals. They bob and weave and weasel around so much it really improves your reaction time.

    Confidence.
Last year after shooting the same 99 score I would frequently get on a good day, a friend told me if I can shoot a 99, there is absolutely no (insert expletive) reason why I can't hit 100 straight. That I've seen every possible target angle thrown so there is no reason (or excuse) for missing.
Those words were the most compelling thing that changed my shooting. I ran my first 100 straight the next time out.
I think of that moment and his words every time I step to the line, and repeat them throughout the course of the round and it continues to give me confidence.

Why after the tripe you have spread on here do you now try to appear as one of us. You also attempt to do it making fun of the posters on here, "amongst you's all". Just slide back into your cave amongst yourselves.

Hey, I bought my "Liberal Tags". After all, they are only a dime a dozen.

no where near AAA level yet, 2 things that keep me getting better, #1 When I start falling off and shooting not so well. I revert back to simple tips from bird hunting days....see it 1st then shoot it. 2nd is I learn more about gun fit, fundementals, and not to think to much on the line.

puke/gag....You have got to be kidding. It is not honorable to believe crap like the libs try to spew on us. Your leaders do want us to "behave", only it is like THEY want us to behave not the way any free man would do.

It is really not a character flaw, but more of a lack therof.

Always searching for the "magic gun" that fits me better than the one I just got rid of. After Model 12's, 1100's, Citori's, Super X-1's, BT-99's and around five K-80's I think this Krieghoff is the one.

Unfortunately, I found this out around 35 years too late!!

You are a troll and full of it. You aren't an AAA shooter either. The ATA has no record of you shooting registered targets.

For just a moment, I thought we'd have a serious answer.

    Appreciate what was given.

    Still waiting for more...

Beyond a certain point, it isn't equipment or ammo. A lot is mental but Like forgetting a fundamental and feeling the fog come in just as you are ready to shoot...

Not letting what someone else is doing or did influence your mind.

Shooters work hard to overcome natural talent.

Can someone talk about the mechanics of their shot?

    regards

"It's honorable to believe that all people should behave like one big family."

    ROFLMAO!

How about becoming a Liberal Missionary to the Taliban. Let us know how that works out for you.
