Here on TS.com we all SHOULD be REP. Some how or another we have some who are nothing but HYPOCRITES. In other words they shoot and have guns but will vote very willingly for Obama. I just don't understand that. Here on TS.com we are gun owners, proud Americans, former military, but yet some are willing to vote for Obama. That to me is just wrong.

So to you all who are Obama lap dogs, what are you going to do if or when the Dem party says TURN IN YOUR GUNS OR WE WILL KICK IN YOUR DOOR FOR THEM. What are you good Dem's going to do? Say BUT I VOTED FOR THE DEM PARTY. Whin Whin whimper whimper. Why are you doing this to me. Whin whin whimper whimper.

What makes you think they would admit it?

I think Bill Clinton got something like 47 million votes his second time around...and I haven't "met" one of those people yet. (Funny thing).

We're probably like the rest of the country...about one-half living off one government subsidy or the other. Zero is most likely to try and maintain or expand that. We've started down the slippery slope...

I find it antithetical to my best interest to encourage any liberal Democrat. Not only because of my penchant for firearms but also because I am getting old, pay taxes and have descendants who would likely suffer. Couple that with a growing lack of freedom, an increase in inane regulation and because pro liberal thinking is slitting ones own throat. A statist government is run by the few for the many. If you are not one of the few, things generally get tough.

Think about your question I will not be voting for Mr O but if I decided to that has always been the Beauty of Our System and what sets it aside from the rest of the World we can ! As far as him or anyone else taking our guns to coin a phrase from my dead dying hands ! One man can not take away what so many of us enjoy firearms when it happens America is done . That doesn't scare me half as much as narrow minded people with little reason that refuse to compromise ! We have a chance to make a change in a few weeks make sure your voice is heard !

I think it's either mental illness or plain stupidity likely a combination of both. It's one thing we agree on Auctioneer.

This is somewhat of a rhetorical question but one that deserves my special answer.

I have a neghbor who does not deal with issues, he calls the authorities.

Example: I had a travel trailer parked on my property but it was shacing the sun from their flower bed. They called and said it was over the line and on their property.

I got a letter from the city. Nobody checked, they just sent the letter.

I do not have a dog. Somehow they complained about dog crap in my yard. (they have 2 dogs that run loose.

The point is no one from that house ever discussed any of their so called problems with me. I am 50 feet away and very polite.

Since they want government to solve their even their most minor issues I am sure they are Democrats.

People who do not want to take responsibility, and want laws passed to suit them and will not do anything about their own so called problems are looking for an out, by having Big Brother do it all.
What they don't realize is that BB will in the end do them, too.

    Really?

Every Union worker on here ( minus a few trades union people who are different) will vote for Obama- they are essentially told to do so

They just dont comment- but they all will--

Then you have the ill informed other liberals and the older people on here that believe the attack ads that their social security and medicare will be cut--- they are voting for Obama but dont comment on here and just out out to the gun clubs to enjoy their freedoms like everyone else

    Regards from Iowa

Sorry to bust your bubble Gene,

I'm a retired auto worker, and I never let anyone tell me who to vote for.How about Reagan, was I wrong to vote for him.I'm republican also, you shouldn't lump all union people into one bunch,Just because you don't like Unions.I was one told by Union officials I was too Honest to run for any office within the Union.I'm not going to apologize for going from High school into the auto industry, yes I had other offers, but at the time the money was better ,even turned down a white collar job to go back to factory work because money was better.Just so happened, around the time I was considering retiring, the company that I almost had the salary job with closed, poor workers lost everything.I put in my 32yrs,retired ,have a decent pension, reasonable medical benefits. Not too bad for a dumb laborer as from your post that I must be for having worked for a union.

Public sector union members are not, in my estimation, union people.

I voted my conscience, all my life. I did vote for Kennedy. I never checked off 2 bucks a week for the Democratic Party. Very few of my co workers did either.

I have been a member of The Machinists, Boilermakers, and 40 years with IBEW.

Back in the 70's few factory workers paid much attention to national politics, but the state and local levels were discussed heatedly.

Working as a contractor in the school systems opened my eyes. I saw in the later years some real puke teachers more concerned with their own welfare than the students. I did see a few good ones, mostly older and in the minority. Recent events in Chcago bear this out.

52 per cent of union workers are now government employees. In 1973 it was 17 per cent. They are the rotten apples in the barrel. We pay the bills but have no say in negotiations. This is done by Democrat politicians put in office by government worker unions.

If you want to understand public sector unionism mash the link.

Wisconsin has a budget surplus and put 109 Million in the rainy day fund ( and paid off what Doyle stole), in one year, thanks to Scott Walker. You don't have to be a brain surgeon to understand that one.

Union members who negotiate in good faith with the people who pay the bills know that when the boss don't make money, you don't make money.

Gov unions are parasitic and should be abolished or at least held responsible somehow by the taxpayers.

    HM
