We've seen videos from helicopters of the Japanese tsunami, but this is from people on a small hill watching the tsunami roll into their town.

I'm a little rusty on my Japanese but i'm pretty sure the tone of their voices is universal. They just barely got that person in the wheelchair to safety.

    Absolutely mind blowing...............DAMN!!!!

The debris from the Tsunami is now a huge raft of flotsam headed to North America.

It will be interesting to see how it's handled when it hits our shore.

How long does it take flotsam to cross the Pacific?

Most of it will get trapped in the North Pacific Gyre and never make ashore.

The large and potentially hazardous debris field from Japan's March 11 tsunami is now forecast to begin coming ashore at Midway island in the Pacific as soon as December or January.

The prediction comes from the International Pacific Research Center at the University of Hawaii. Scientists revised their forecast after the tons of floating debris were spotted by a Russian vessel off Midway in late September.
