is it right at the mouth of the tube? Not down at the very end of the plastic dispenser...but up at end of the solid metal tube?

If that's the case, its like at some point in time you had your drop die set too low and mashed it into the plate and bent it a little so that it's not round anymore and the primers are catching.

I might have an extra one, if you want to pay shipping. Or try www.lockstock.com - they sell parts cheaper than hornady does direct. Or call hornady - you can talk to their tech guys and get what you need.

    good luck

Pull the lower drop tube out and check both ends for burrs or deformaties. If it is just burrs then bevel the tube with an oversize drill bit and try dropping primers through that. Also look through the tube for any kind of buildup and make sure the tube is straight.

New parts are available from Hornady at a reasonable price.

Be carefull not to cut into the black plastic part at the bottom . If you do , then the primers will fall thru that also . Just use a small chain saw file to get the burr off inside the tube .

What did you find that was causing the problem?
