Does anyone have any experience with the hydralic assist on the newer 366, or have you converted an older one? Pros and cons.

If you are talking about the Hornady hydraulic assist, Waste of money, doesn't really do anything you can't do yourself. All it does is slow down and smooth out the rotation to help prevent the primer from hanging up in the pocket. You can do that yourself by not yanking on the handle.

I have shooting friend that bought a 366 on my recommendation. He spent the extra money for the assist and it quit working in short order. Save your money. I have three Hornady/Pacific presses. They do not need the assist. If your primers are hanging up or you spill shot, slow down and smooth out your stroke on the operating handle.
