I keep reading about all the strawberries at Plant City during the Dixie Grand (while my mouth is watering). However, this Dixie being my first one in 3 years, I'm looking forward to those Indian River Honey Bells. Absolutely the best fruit on the face of this earth! Can't wait!

That brings back memories. My mother had a home in naples and I would always enjoy the Indian River fruit on the way down and back

My Mother-in-law always ordes a box for me for Xmas. Last Xmas when I was in Fort Wayne I ordered a bushel and handed them out at work (ITT). Everyone went crazy over these oranges. I remember playing golf while living in Orlando next to a few groves and when the were in their month and a half ripe period (late Dec thru Jan) we made sure we would schedule tee times next to the groves so we could help ourselves. Sticky hands always ensured a better grip on the club. Man! I can't wait till I get back to the South. 14 days and counting.
