1. We have added the ability for anyone to 'bump' threads that they have created. This is mainly useful in the classifieds area where posters constantly bump for sale threads to bring it to the top. This allows them the ability to do that without having to clutter the thread with extra 'TTT' and 'Bump' type posts. To bump it, go inside your thread and click on 'Thread Tools' at the top, then select 'bump'. You can bump only once per 24 hour period.

For more detailed information please see this post: Thread Bump Functionality.

LOL. The red ones just won't work, eh? Have you contacted him since you got the faulty red hulls, or did you come here to spout off first? Possible there was a mix up? If you're that hard up for greys, I can probably swap ya.

I had a great transaction with this person about 6 months ago. Bought gold nitros and red AA off this person. Easy email and phone conversation and he even shipped to my business for a cheaper rate from UPS. He even gave me all the nitro boxes. Personally talked to him twice. Maybe a phone call would do. Did you ever stop to think that maybe someone has you greys instead of reds?

A simple mixup labeling the boxes could have done it.

DID YOU CONTACT him BEFORE comming on here and having a hissy fit like a Skeeter?

    Sheeeesh! Some people.

And you are out what???? $24 plus shipping if you had not recieved 800 grey hulls but you recieved 800 reds so what did you lose. Was if worth it to come on here and complain about someone's honesty?? Maybe we could take up a collection for you - NOT.

What do you do if something major happens??

Don, the man did not get what he paid for. He paid for grey hulls, not red ones. But that is ok with you cause he got hulls, right? Just not the color he wanted.

Let's turn this around a bit and say that you went and bought a new car, a red on. When the dealer brought it around front for you to drive away, there was a green one. That's ok, hell it's just a different color. If a man buys a particular item, that is what he wants, not some kind of substitute replacement. Wake up and smell the coffee.

Hmph...I did a transaction with Duluth Fatboy a couple years back, and it went just fine.

Maybe copper will drive you up there in his Armored Car so you can replace them...

You are right, you should get what you pay for David, it is as simple as that. I believe that you expressed yourself very well in your posts. have a good evening, Rodbuster.

You're right, you didn't get what you paid for. However, you were a little quick on the trigger in posting what you did. You should have given the man a chance to correct the mistake before questioning his integrity. I see where he posted on another thread that he will send you the grey hulls free of charge. Everyone makes mistakes and it appears that he is correcting his. When, and I have no reason to believe you won't, you receive your grey hulls will come back here and post that George corrected his mistake? I hope so, to err is human...

Looks like he made a mistake, doesn't everybody at some time do the same.
He made it right, don't be so darn quick to judge a person give him a chance to correct the problem. After all fails then feel free to give your opinion.
I have done the same as you and then find out I am left feeling like an ass. Maybe you owe him an apology?? Ken

I make namebadges, and definitely had a BrainFart before... I sent Military Order of the Purple Heart namebadges to the Kiwanis club, and Kiwanis badges to the MOPH. It was all my bad, but it was an honest mistake. We got it all straightened out though... Doo-Doo happens.... You have to look at the bright side sometimes...at least I didn't send Porn Worker's Union badges to St. Mary's church, right? :)

Maybe those who sell hulls should first be given the Ishihara (?) test for colorblindness. They may not know that. I believe Dennis The Optomitrist to the Trapshooters in Redlands, California, can test all hull sellers for a nominal fee...

I want to know if you are going to send the reds back and if not are you going to pay him for those. Because by your convoluted thinking that would be stealing wouldn't it??

If it was between you and George as you say then why start a pissing contest over some petty deal and it is petty.

I load red and gray mixed and together and the only difference I've seen is the dye in the plastics. So long as they are all Old style or all HS, there is no difference on my MEC 650. And yes, both colors come in both styles. Now between Old and HS is a slight difference. I need to move the cam about 1/16 inch to make the crimps close the same, I believe it is up for the old style or down for the HS, but I might have that reversed. I load and shoot through all my Old style, make my small adjustment, then load and shoot through the other. No other changes and using the same components, they shoot the same.

I have seen the differences too between the grey and the red. I mix my shells together and reload them all at once. Sometimes I notice that there is a slight hole in the red onces and the grey ones are perfect. You can run 4 red ones in a row all with a hole in the center then 4 grey ones all perfect. Maybe coincidence but there seems to be a difference in AA hulls.

I load both green sts's and gold nitro's.....with all the same components, I seem to break more birds from the 27 with the nitro's........

maybe I should only use the gold nitro hulls???

the problem surely can't be in my head!!!
