I once heard a well know R&R star talk about doing this with an automatic weapon, out of a helo.

That looks like a lot of fun but I still would hate the helicopter swerving around and all. Jackie B.

This is on my bucket list. Probably more effective with a shotgun and 00 buck.

Place in Texas will take you up - as I recall it was $750 for 4 hours plus you had to pay for the pigs you killed. I'll see if I can find the web-site,

That looks awesome. I'd pay $750 for four hours of doing that. BUT, not if the pig fee was high. They are trying to get rid of them anyway.

You eat the small ones and sell the big ones if you trap them. "Wild boar meat" is popular in Europe so it's exported there.

Four hogs killed in a dove field (during the hunt) this year with I don't know how many gut shot that made it to the high grass/brush around the field. Involved a Kawasaki Mule, an AR-15, one person driving and one person shooting. Strictly an extermination exercise. A large boar had charged the pickup truck earlier in the week. Unfortunately he was not with the group of about 25 hogs. Vultures stayed around this field for days. These hogs are a blight on the landscape. The year before a dove hunter had lost a couple of fingers when a large hog attacked him while dove hunting about 50 miles away.

It was a circus. The guy that puts on the dove hunts and I were just sitting in the Mule trying to decide where I was going to dove hunt when here come the hogs.

The link posted here is a nicer video (with the exception of the music). (I think Flight of the Valkyries would be better).

These guys have obviously solved the gun-ammo equation, with regard to what it takes to dust off groups of "babies" that are hard to hit...Buckshot! ("How can you shoot baby pigs?" >>> "It's easy...ya just don't lead 'em so much!")

Love it! This guy is hitting them real nice.

(What - no "be kind to animals" softies on this thread? Those wusses usually can be relied on to make an appearance, when pest control is at issue).

Hog huntin TEXAS STYLE, 750 for 4 hours sounds cheap if the A Heloicopter is used.
