    Hoffa

Conservative commentators have had a field day rubbing Obummer and his socialist sycophants' noses in the hypocracy of Hoffa's Labor Day rhetoric. It may be entertaining but it completely misses the point.

Hoffa's Teamsters Union is #11 on the list of the largest all time political campaign contributors.** The Teamsters fall in line behind AFSCME (public sector employees) at #2, SEIU at #5, NEA (teachers' union) at #6, IBEW at #8, Laborers at #9, and the American Federation of Teachers at #10.

Those donated dollars (just shy of a quarter billion for the seven unions listed) came from the membership. Virtually all of it was sent to lib dem socialist candidates.

I'll leave it to other members of this board to defend, explain, and/or justify why labor PACs support the candidates they support. However, stay tuned tomorrow night to see how many hundreds of billions (trillions?) of taxpayer dollars Obummer 'donates' directly back to organized labor. I'm guessing the return on their investment will be breath taking.

Covers 1989 - 2010 since public disclosure of political contributions has been legally mandated.

If it shows, just forward it to the White House.

It's already paid off. A union went on a rampage in Longview, Washington, took hostages, damaged brake lines on a train, dumped grain on the ground, threatened a police officer, defied court orders, and... no one got arrested. Yup, paying off quite well.
