Hodgdon Trap 100 1oz loads? can

I found several pounds of trap 100 at a local shop but can't find any data. Best I can tell is it performs about like 700X which I like. I would like to get a good 1oz load. Does anyone out there know anything about this powder?
    Thanks,
    Chris

I'd call Hodgdon directly and ask them.

I have an old Hodgdon #24 Manual that lists several 1oz loads for Trap 100. Typically, 23gr under a WAA12 wad gives approximately 1300fps @ 9600 lup.

I would definitely contact Hodgdon before using ANY data found elsewhere!

If I'm not mistaken, this is the same powder as the discontinued Winchester 452AA. I remember using it in pistol loads and some of my notes listed loads for .45 Auto, 9MM, and .38 Special. I do have some old Hodgdon and some old Winchester loading manuals around. I just can't seem to locate them at the moment. They are in a box somewhere in the midst of a few hundred other boxes. I'll post some data if I can come across them. Hodgdon should be able to help you out, as had been mentioned before.

I'm not exactly sure what the difference between 'old' 452AA and 'new' 452AA is (esp since both 452AA are discontinued), but they are (were) the same powder.

Old Speer manuals had a lot of loads for Trap 100.

Like all ball powders, they're hard to light, but burn good when you do.

Hodgdon has had this question before and mumbled the stock, 'we have no data.'
