I am going on down to Sparta and made me think about travelling years ago
    when these were popular.

    Riot in the Drug Store-
    Calling all Cars-
    100 Customers-
    99 Jars-
    Burma Shave

    If You Drive-
    While You're Drunk-
    Carry your Coffin-
    In Your Trunk-
    Burma Shave

I found the book on Burma-Shave we actually have one that tells the Burma Shave story and how the signs came about and also all the little rhymes that were used and a lot that weren't used by Burma Shave. In 1940 a couple of the many they used were "He's the boy the gals forgot his line was smooth his chin was not Burma-Shave." "All little rhyming jokes aside don't be content until
you've tried Burma-Shave." Yes when you get the most of your trip to Sparta over and get off the interstate those old two lane roads bring back the good memories of an easier time. Dan
