But, the low lifes get all of the freebees NO MATTER who is in office. The Bush administration did NOTHING to stifle the bullshit handout programs what so ever. Nor did they do ANYTHING to stem the swarm of illegals spilling over our boarder! We are SCREWED either way!!

The so-called Republican majority in Congress, starting in 2001, had already partaken of the Koolaid. They had become intoxicated on the power, and they had forgotten why they were there. They had become Democrats. They were the definition of RINO.

By 2006, and well into President Bush's second term, their constituents had tired of them and their failure to do anything good for America. That was coupled with tiredness of the war in Iraq, and Pelosi, et al., managed to slip in, promising immediate withdrawal from Iraq.

    No great secret here.

It's interesting that the three hard hit Katrina states - Louisiana, Alabama and Mississippi - voted for McCain.<br>

Maybe too many there witnessed liberal ineptitude first hand?

Mississippi has long been Republican. Trent Lott, Hayley Barber, etc., have all been returned to office again and again.

Louisiana turned the corner with the election of a Republican governor.

Alabama, too, has a strong Republican base.

These states have records of having a strong self-willed citizenry, New Orleans notwithstanding.

If O'Bs-us does not accomplish much during the next 4 years, he will blame it on the predominantly white Congress and Senate. His next mantra will be "we failed because the white majority held us back." Followed by his call for electing any minority candidate, regardless of qualifications, into office so we can succeed.

Before you jump on me for discriminating against minorities, I am a native born Puerto Rican (definitely a minority & proud Republican)......and abhor everything the President elect [not my President since I did not vote for him] stands for and his potential ruining of our great country. During the next 4 years I will be extremely active against his re-election.
