Today is the anniversary of the bombing of Hiroshima, Japan.

I have to think about Paul Tibbets, who was a member of our club.

He was a Skeet shooter and about as an opinionated individual as I ever met.

If he heard a conversation between a group of shooters he thought nothing of throwing in his 2 cents whether invited or not.

He got under a lot of peoples skin, however, he was definitely the right man for the job.

    Regards....Gerald

Go to the video store and rent "The Flowers of War" with Christian Bale. It should remove any doubt whether Hiroshima was necessary.

Shooting coach, You should put up a picture of Detroit for comparison. I heard it looks a lot like Hiroshima on August 7, 1945.

I saw where President Truman's grandson made a special trip to Hiroshima to participate in a memorial service. I hope he stopped by Pearl Harbor on his way to Japan.
