I changed a few years ago to a high vis sight. I liked it for a while but I like mine much more now that I have colored the end black. There are not many other shooters who would buy a high vis sight and color it black.

I'm guessing that you painted the muzzle end. Can I ask what does it do to the sight? Brighten it?

It will teach you how to keep your eye on the bead rather than the target.....Been there and done that.

I use the smallest white pipe as possible. Everything else distracts me. I have a tough enough time staying focused, I don't need any HELP !!!

In my opinion, the Bradley or Marbels 1/8" white bead is the most suitable for trap or skeet.

IMHO, an 1/8" bead is OK for skeet & singles. The further back the smaller the bead. Ask, Harlan Campbell & Chris Vendel. I kinda remember they are advocates of smaller beads for caps.

I use the Hi-Viz "Flame" sight. It comes with a small red fiber optic bead. I like the smaller bead.

I tried a magnetic Hi-Viz before I was to permanently install one. Came with a full complement of colors and shapes of pipes I couldn't get use to it. I didn't go that direction. Purely a distraction in my case.

I switched all my guns over to the Champion Easy Hit 2.5mm Green 2.75"

It is the smaller of the two Champion makes.

Sits tight to the rib, and really helps alignment on the stock.
