Does anyone know a high capacity magazine for a 10/22 Ruger that will function properly, all the time? Thanks

The single stack mags do a better job than the staggered. Also if you can find the ones with the steel lips they seem to work better.

THE BEST 10-22 "hi-cap" magazine is the TI-25 aluminum bodied mag with hardened stainless steel feed lips made by Tactical Innovations. Quality costs, and these are not cheap, at $59.99 each. But they will outlast several of any other magazine.

For a much less expensive magazine, probably the Butler Creek Steel Lips is best. These have steel feed lips, and cost a little bit more than their Hot Lips magazines, which have a hard red plastic feed lip.

Whatever you do, buy now. There's no telling what's coming down the pike once Obama and his cohorts ram this health care bill through. It's obvious the Dems do not believe they will be voted out of office, and if they're that arrogant, they're that much more likely to pull gun bans out of their... uh... hats.

Nothing over 10 rounds allowed in any new magizines in Kalifornia, after the ban. You can't buy, sell, loan or import a high capacity magazine. JIM

Nothing more than 10 rounds in any mag (unless its "pre-ban" meaning made before 94) here in NY

shot410ga, quote: <i>"Has Rabbit hunting turned into a war zone?"</i>

Not rabbit hunting, but varmint hunting.

Having more than 10 shots comes in handy for shooting at lots of sage rats in the wind. Often you have to walk the rounds in on them because of a heavy gusts.

Also, my 10-22 twin Gatling Gun is a lot more fun with two 30 round mags than with two 10 round mags.

Those rats must be wild and crazy critters, to require so many shots. The war continues......
