Very beautiful. Only concern I would have is all the figure in the wrist. Like to see straight grain there for strength.

    Ross,

Nice piece of treated pine! LOL

Mate who did it ? nice job, might even make the Kemen look like a real Trap gun now.

How does it shoot ? if it shoots half as good as it looks you are on a winner.

    Gaz.

Hi Gaz,it was a packing case that turned up at work, not treated pine at all,Kevin Wright turned it into what you see .The only shots fired were in the rough ,so to speak and it felt great, feels even better finished.Just waiting to have a shot. Thanks for looking Ross.

Nice piece of Walnut. I hope the gun you put this stock on is worth more than the wood.

ACSS, heres the blank before work started, the highlighted pieces are potential holes that may need filling, but in this type of wood there are little holes and splits everywhere.

Thats burl turkish which is not as expensive as some of the other high grade turkish for some reason- never understood that-- when you buy a blank

However not all blanks make stocks- there is a drop our rate there- because a burl blank is more of a gamble

It is hard to find a blank with full coverage and that doesnt have any holes that cant be filled- so I guess there is a gamble when you buy burl in that you hope it will turn out just as this stock did but a lot of burl wont

Great looking stock= would look good on any gun made - any engraving

    regards from Iowa
